What insurance products can I earn AIR MILES® reward miles on?
You can now earn AIR MILES® reward miles on all of your Insurance Company of Prince Edward Island insurance products, except bonds.
You will earn one AIR MILES® reward mile for every $20 spent on a policy.
Can I collect AIR MILES® for insurance policies purchased from the Insurance Company of Prince Edward Island in Nova Scotia or New Brunswick?
Yes. AIR MILES® reward miles are available for all ICPEI policies in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick if they have an effective date of Jan. 1, 2007 or later. Insurance policies purchased in Prince Edward Island are eligible for reward miles if they have an effective date of July 1, 2005 or later.

I already have Insurance Company of Prince Edward Island insurance products. How can I earn AIR MILES® reward miles on them?
It's very simple. You will be able to earn AIR MILES® reward miles on each of your Nova Scotia or New Brunswick policies as they come up for renewal as of Jan. 1, 2007. You can also earn AIR MILES® reward miles on your Prince Edward Island policies as of July 1, 2005.
You can register to collect reward miles online or you can call 1-866-417-5577. You will need your ICPEI policy number and your Air Miles® Collector Number. This information is also provided on your insurance renewal notice. Once a policy is renewed, you will automatically receive the reward miles. I noticed on my last AIR MILES® statement that I received reward miles from the Insurance Company of Prince Edward Island, but then they also took some away. Why?
AIR MILES® reward miles are issued to Insurance Company of Prince Edward Island Collectors on the effective date of their policy. If you made any changes to the amount or type of your coverage that decreased the premium amount, reward miles would have been taken away to reflect the reward miles that should have been earned on your revised policy amount. Alternatively, if you increased your coverage (and hence your premiums), you would have received a positive adjustment.
For example, your home insurance premiums were $200/year. Your coverage needs to be changed and your premiums decreased to only $160/year. On your AIR MILES® Collector statement, you will see 10 reward miles credited from ICPEI ($200/one reward mile for every $20). You will then see a transaction for minus two reward miles. This is a correction to bring your account to the proper number of reward miles issued for $160 in premiums ($160/one reward mile for every $20 = eight miles).
The Insurance Company of Prince Edward Island insurance policy I purchased in New Brunswick renewed on November 1, 2006. When will I start earning AIR MILES® reward miles?
Insurance Company of Prince Edward Island customers in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia receive their reward miles when their policy renews after Jan. 1, 2007. In this case you will receive your reward miles on Nov. 1, 2007. You can check your statement online at www.airmiles.ca within the following few weeks to see your miles.
We have several Insurance Company of Prince Edward Island insurance products. Will we earn AIR MILES® reward miles on the total amount of our policy premiums?
You will earn AIR MILES® reward miles on each policy separately. You will receive the reward miles for each policy on its renewal date.
For example, if your home insurance is renewed in April 2007 and your auto insurance renews in July 2007, you will receive reward miles in April on your home insurance premiums, and reward miles in July for your auto insurance premiums.
I'm not an AIR MILES® collector, but have Insurance Company of Prince Edward Island Insurance products. Can I still sign up and earn AIR MILES® reward miles on them?
Yes you can. Simply call 1-888-AIR-MILES or visit www.airmiles.ca to enroll in the AIR MILES® Reward Program. Then, call The Insurance Company of Prince Edward Island registry line at 1-866-417-5577 to register your policy(s) and your AIR MILES® Collector number.
I received AIR MILES® reward miles on my Insurance Company of Prince Edward Island Insurance policy, but now I have to cancel it. Do I get to keep the reward miles?
The reward miles you were issued will be pro-rated to the duration of your policy. The reward miles over and above what you earned to date will be removed. For example, your policy earned you 100 reward miles. If you cancel it after six months, 50 reward miles will be removed from your account.
